Pear Education is proud of all of our accreditations and official education membership status with the REC.

The REC is a regulative body established in 2009 in its present form, but whose work dates back as far as 80 years. Their goal is simple to ensure that any company such as ours who recruits, does so to the highest standards possible. All members abide by a Code of Ethics, and are guided, mentored, and taught the best practices possible to provide recruitment for a number of sectors.

As Pear Education is a recruitment agency that works in the education sector, we are fully accredited members of the REC and have received the distinction of REC Audited Education the highest standard for a recruitment agency in the education sphere. Because in 2013 the Department for Education’s Quality Mark ceased to exist, the REC Audited Education has been its replacement, and is what you should look for when seeking a recruitment company in education.

The help and guidance we get from the REC includes but is not limited to, a Code of Professional Practice, guidance on how to deal with external requests for information, a guide to putting pupils first, guides to agency working regulations. As well as full support for background checks and candidate vetting together with our own code of ethics and practices Pear Education and the REC make for a stellar education recruitment service that many schools throughout London and The Home Counties trust with their recruitment needs.
